 Wang NMR, Inc. is located at 550 North Canyons Parkway, Livermore, California, which is 50 miles East of San Francisco or 20 miles East of Oakland. Wang NMR, Inc. is within a 50 minutes drive from UC Berkeley, Stanford University, and UC San Francisco. The company owns a real estate property of 3.5 Acres and has built a campus-like facility of 45,000 square feet. 4500 square feet is Administrative and engineering offices, 4500 square feet is the MRT facility and the remaining 36,000 square feet is for manufacturing and Research and Development. In addition, the Company owns a 115 acres site, 1/2 mile east of Lawrence Livermore Laboratory. The Company plans to build its permanent facility at this site. Since 1984, We are specialized in custom design Superconducting magnets for challenging new technology. Our engineering and production teams have manufactured the Ultra high field magnets (12 to 24 T), high resolution NMR magnets, world highest field open-air superconducting MRI magnet, functional MRI system, the world largest MHD magnet, magnetic separators, etc. Wang NMR, Inc. achieved a major reputation by being awarded an order for a 5.0 T whole 2body MRI magnet by New York Neurological Research Institute, the Medical School of Columbia University. Now we are fulfilling an order from Taiwan Academic SINICA for 14.1 T triple functional MRI for Genome Research. This is the most rapid imaging and most powerful MRI in the world. It will process 200 to 300 mice per day in the pursuit of identify gene responsible for genetic disease. The product example cited above illustrates the Company’s strengths and efforts to become a technological leader in the innovative MRI technology. Another important achievement for Wang NMR Inc. in 2001 are successful construction and delivery of 4 Superbends for biological research at Lawrence Berkeley laboratory, one magnetic Separator, one Electron Cyclotron Resonance Magnet, one Wavelength Shifting Magnet and one Superconducting Octopole System for Taiwan Advanced Light Source. |
